Built to Close the Transfer Gap
Every year, millions of community college students lose credits, time, and momentum navigating an opaque transfer system. Tranzivu exists to change that.
Our mission
The transfer pathway is one of the most powerful — and most broken — routes to a four-year degree. Students who start at community colleges are more likely to be first-generation, lower-income, and from underrepresented backgrounds. They deserve the same clarity and confidence as students who start at four-year institutions.
Tranzivu was built to give every transfer student a clear, data-driven picture of where their credits go, which requirements they satisfy, and which schools are the best fit for their goals. We believe that better information leads to better decisions — and better outcomes.
What we stand for
Student-first
Every product decision starts with one question: does this help a transfer student succeed? We don't optimize for engagement metrics — we optimize for outcomes.
Data integrity
Articulation agreements are complex and change frequently. We maintain rigorous data pipelines and partner directly with institutions to keep equivalency data accurate and current.
Equity by design
Transfer students are disproportionately from underserved communities. We build with that reality in mind — accessible interfaces, transparent processes, no paywalls for students.
Privacy and compliance
We are committed to FERPA compliance and responsible data stewardship. Student data is never sold, never used for advertising, and always handled with institutional-grade security.

Compliance and data integrity
FERPA compliance
Tranzivu handles student education records in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Access to student data is role-based, audited, and limited to authorized personnel and institutions.
Data accuracy
Course equivalency and articulation data is sourced directly from partner institutions and updated on a rolling basis. We flag data that has not been verified within the current academic year.
Security standards
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. We conduct regular security audits and maintain an incident response plan in accordance with industry best practices.
No data selling
Student data is never sold to third parties, used for advertising, or shared outside the scope of the student's explicit consent and institutional agreements.
